4 wks X'mas Theme Home-School Co-op

Co-ops bring a breath of fresh air into our daily family education routine, and from the way Princess requested to go back week after week, Mummy Eliz was sure that she enjoyed the experience.

Mummy Eliz took on the Lower Primary Unit Studies for a week, and brought the kids on a virtual journey around the world, looking at the different ways people across different countries celebrate Christmas. It certainly was an eye-opening [plus a little overwhelming] experience.

Well, now, did you know?

- New Zealand is the first country on earth to celebrate Christmas
- In London, swim races in the cold waters of winter would be organized
- In Australia, there is a yacht race that starts from Sydney Harbor
- In Australia, due to the hot weather, people prefer a swim on the beach
- In South Korea, it is more of a friends gathering than family event

And, here’s a look at some of the craft work we did during the coop.
